NEW from NSH Registry
Membership
MEMBERSHIP requirements for showing at USEF shows have been relaxed to provide for the rider, driver, handler and trainer who might, for whatever reason, not desire NSHR membership (for instance, only showing at one show per year) While at least one owner still needs to be a full member, the others named may apply AT THE SHOW for a non-member permit for only $30. This option is shown on the NSH-NE membership form, but it is not to be mailed in, but rather filed at the show. NOTE that only USEF shows require any type of NSH membership – shows such as Twin State in June and Octoberfest require no membership (or non-member fee), their not being USEF shows.
Registration
REGISTRATION eligibility has changed after a membership vote last fall. Beginning with our 2010 show season, any horse with proof of at least 50% Arabian blood is eligible for NSH registration. Half-Arabian registration papers will be considered proof. Horses on the ground and born in 2010 that meet the old registration requirements will still be eligible for registration. See the Registry’s web site, : www.nshregistry.org , for further details.
